For all the talk about UFC 153’s main event, the card was really carried by the fights that led up to that point.

Sure, Dana White and the gang were hyping up the fact that Anderson Silva versus Stephan Bonnar would either end with a thrilling knockout or a historic upset, but everyone knew which one it would ultimately be. Not even Silva blatantly throwing the beginning of the first round could change the fact that this was a mismatch to the millionth degree.
 All of that said, Jon Fitch, Erick Silva, Antonio Nogueira and Glover Teixeira put on great shows.
